Meet the Team

If you discovered The Christian Working Woman on the radio, you likely heard Mary’s voice well before you saw her face. For over 40 years, she has written and recorded programs that air across the United States and now all over the world thanks to streaming services. But at the center is a desire to support and encourage Christians in the workplace. After all, we spend so much time working with our coworkers. What if this was our mission field?

For Mary, being Christ’s ambassador means seeking to live a question-generating life and then being prepared give an answer for the hope she has. And it’s an honor to pass on this truth and mindset to Christian women around the world through speaking, writing, and teaching.

Mary loves to be with family and friends and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.

Julie has had the joy of serving on the board of The Christian Working Woman for many years, and since 2019, she’s been the ministry’s executive director. As a Christian working woman herself, Julie understands the juggling act of wearing many hats, and she’s passionate about walking alongside other women who are doing the same.

One of her greatest joys is studying God’s Word with other women and hearing how he is moving in their lives. To her, it is a privilege to lighten the load, offer encouragement, or simply be a reminder that you’re not alone.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys time with friends, walking her dog, biking with her husband, tending to her garden, or planning her next travel adventure.

If you’ve ever called in for prayer or emailed our team with questions about an event, you’ve likely talked to Sherri! She loves pouring into women just like you because we all need community and support as we sojourn through this world. It’s an honor to walk with women as they seek to be Christ’s ambassador at work.

For Sherri, showing up to work with this mindset means she seeks to live out what she believes. It means that she tries to stand for truth and speak in love. And most of all, it looks like loving those around her and sharing Jesus with them.

Outside of work, you can find Sherri going for walks, going out with friends, reading books, and keeping things organized!

Kate is an author, writer, and speaker, and she counts it a delight to pour into women just like you. She’s passionate about discipleship, especially helping women draw closer to Jesus. Any chance she has to remind others of his truth and love is a gift.

When she’s not at work, you can find her on a run, playing with her pup Beesly or learning a new board game with her husband.
